Although I think he was joking, he might not be far off. If you're not even at level 2 yet and you're already getting point loss moderations you're pretty much a problem user, and depending on the nature of your post the mods might not hesitate to drop the banhammer.
Usually level one lasts one or two days....which means if you get to that level of moderations you'd be banned. Point loss doesn't happen for a few offenses....

Well, not exactly; said user may not have bothered reading the TOU when they joined...Whether they intend to be a problem user or not doesn't matter, when was the last time you heard of a moideration being reversed because the user in question didn't take the time to read the ToU? The fact is that if they're breaking ToU, whether out of ignorance or intentionally, to the point to where they're warranting a points loss before level 2 then they're a problem user.

What's that one user's sig say, brevity is the soul? I guess I'm just not into the whole brevity thing, and that's not necessarily a good thing.

Eh, my point was that the mods give you warnings as a method of telling you "Go review the ****ing rules, you halfwit!" Of course, if they break the more serious rules, then too bad, but I don't think they ban you for a large quantity of moderations in a short period of time... In fact, repeated moderations over a longer period of time are far worse, as the user should know what to do and what not to do by then.[QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="aaronmullan"]You need to describe more! That's silly. I could easily get point losses as a level 1. Method: Create account, flame someone on SW. Done.Actually, I think the consensus is that it's impossible. You can't get enough posts to warrant a points loss without getting to level 2, probably.

Can you get a point loss the first time you flame? I was under the impression they give out warnings first, at least they did for me. Then again, I've heard SW has an above-average moderation rate.

yeah, no. In SW, flaming = 7 day suspension, automatically. Please Log In to post.
