$1,000,000... that's about £560,000

It's not nearly enough....

I'd spend about $120,000 on a car and save the rest until needed.... presuming i already have a house etc.

I'd spend $300,000 on a nice big house in a safe, quiet neighborhood a good distance away from the city, and I'd spend $100,000 on new supllies for my new house such as appliances and furniture and a hot tub, and I'd invest my last $600,000 in the iPhone and iPod industries so that I'd be richer than before!!!

Spend it mostly on propertys. putting it in banks probably won't bring as great a return as investing in property (at least where I am, It depends on how the housing market is where you live).

Well, saying that my bank's interest is about 3 percent, I'm looking at 22,500 a year. The big expenses such as a house and car have already been paid off, so that just leaves miscelaneous expenses. I don't need much to live, and that's a pretty good income for someone who just wants to stay at home and goof off on the Internet and play games. Now, if I had a family, that would be different thing.

I change my answer, I'd buy a $100,000 everyday car, spend $200,000 on a race car, invest $200,000, and just use the other $500,000 to travel the world, visit other countries, other cities, and just be a beach bum

Ah, I see.

Yah, I dont think that that would be enough for me. Staying at home and goofing off on the Internet and play games sounds like fun, but it's not something I like to do actually, or atleast not much. But to each their own.

First - new laptop, a guitar or two, a nice amp, a car. Save some for random stuff, probably 10,000 or so. And then invest in something, maybe start a business or buy a small one.

Put it all in a collage fund, and buy a house with the leftovers.
