Would you book a seat to go into space on a Virgin Galactic Spaceship?
If I had that kind of money, I would.

No, I would use the $200 000 to make even more money and then book that seat later when I've got more to throw around.

I personally wouldnt buy a trip to space right now. Technology is going to progress and i daresay in about 30 years the cost will be a fraction of what it is now.
Im happy to wait, i dont plan on going anywhere (well at least i hope not!)
I would use it to pay off my mortgage.
Space would be boring... being weightless would be cool for probably all of 5 minutes... then it would be a pain in the butt to sleep (not just the weightlessness, but the solar radiation causing constant flashes), i would be groggy, tired and iratable, eating crappy liquid meals and pooping in a very awkward fashion.
Ill pass.... i get the sensation of being weightless for a couple moments on a rollercoaster, for much cheaper.

How much does it cost? If it costs close to $200,000 then of course I wouldn't do it. I'd essentially be spending all of my money just to have bragging rights that I'd been in space.
Now...I might spend like, 5% of my money to have bragging rights about how I've been in space. So if I had a total of $200,000 in the bank, then I might spend $5000 to go into space. Alternatively, if a trip to space costs $20000, then I might spend that if I had 4 MILLION dollars in the bank. But I'm sure as hell not gonna spend what basically amounts to ALL MY MONEY just to be in space.

And it's not even space. You'd cross the imaginary line scientists say is the edge of "space," but you'd be about 200 km short of sustainable orbit... Too much money to say that you've *technically* been in space. If I had that kind of money, I would just keep it, and use it for rent, and food. I'd just use it to not be stressed out about money in my life, while still working for money. Yeah, I'm different than most people. I woudln't spend it on $200,000 cars, or escalators to go upstairs in your house, or 99999" TV's, I'd just use it to live a stress-free life - also, I'd give some to my family so they can also live stress-free.
I'd buy a few things I wanted and then just hold on to it. Also help people out who don't have much...
