What would you give up for the love of your life?

Personally, I'd either give up reading and playing video games to have her. I'd say I'd part with my music, but it means too much to me so Ill give up reading and games instead.

Last girl I fell in love with, I gave her 2 and a half years of my life... we ended up buying a condo together, we had an Autralian Sheppard dog together for a year, I gave her REALLY nice presents (last one was a 400$+ bike), and lots of day to day stuff she needed as a student... including half the price of the laptop she needed for school...

In the end, I ended up giving her 8000$ for the condo I had to buy back 8 months later, she left with a bunch of stuff that was mine, left with the dog (I figured I didn't have time to take care of it proprely, and I don't want to have a dog that lives in its cage 16h/24) and everything I had paid for her as she had no money (I figured since she was a student it was "normal" for me to pay for the whole electricity/cable/internet/cell bills/grocery)...

What would I give up now for a woman? Some of my free time... that's it. Unless after a while I see there's really something going on, I'm not gonna give up much of what I like/have for a woman.

That is, not counting the wine bottles/suppers I'll pay for the dates we have together. It's enough for the first couple of months.

Well if you lost her trust twice without cheating... chances are she didn't trust you to begin with, or wanted to end the relatiomship to begin with. If you can't be youself without "losing her confidence", either she wanted out of the relationship... or you're stupid.

I could never give up video games to have true love, because that wouldn't be true love. My true love would love video games as much as me. It's a part of who am I, and I can't betray myself just for something as arbitrary as love. As for other possessions... I'd give up my pants for love. Yeah, definately pants.

But man...good food is so crucial to a good life. Idunno, part of me says I'd resent her.

Assuming she's the woman I'm going to spend the rest of my life with... porn and (too much) alcohol. I don't see myself giving up videogames unless I get bored with them on my own.
