If you see Superhero Movie...

...I hate you. Seriously. These movies aren't funny. If you see it, you're telling the creators "Hey! Make 50 more of these! I don't mind!". You bet your ass they will too. Whoever "writes" the scripts for these movies probably have some terrible script generator or something. It's the same unfunny jokes over and over. Eventually we're going to get : Video Game Movie, Thriller Movie, Space Movie, Spoof Movie, Movie Movie...

It's just not "cute" anymore to see these movies. They never were funny, and never will be.

Why can't movie directors give up? Those kind of movies aren't funny yet they still make good money.

I know you're gonna hate me for saying this, but I personally thought that Spaceballs was a pretty worthless movie. Almost completely unfunny, and a waste of time.

No, because these movies are incredably cheap to make and they make a lot of money because people think "oh well this one might be better". If you can half-ass a movie 5+ times and still make a lot of money on it then what motivation is there to make the next one better?

No doubt that with each one the money brought in from the DVDs has been substantially less and less hence the branching out to different genres to try and appeal to more people ( i can only assume they never thought of "try and be funny in this one" or "Maybe we shouldn't put rap in here") so they'll be looking to make it better so more people buy the dvds and they make more money which makes them make more of them.

Scary Movie 1 and 2 were pretty good, but every thing from that point forward was epic phail.

This one looks much better than the past 18, and the fact that Leslie Neilsen is in it gives it a plus four. The part where he's at the cemetery and says "Gimme five minutes" in the coffin was pretty funny.

And I may watch it on cable just to irritate the topic creator.;)
