I'm 19 years old and voted for John McCain. To all you who choose not to vote. Way to give the men that fought, bled, and died to give you your right to vote a nice slap in the face.
People who refuse vote or are "undecided" are usually pretty clueless. Best they don't vote anyway.I'm 19 years old and voted for John McCain. To all you who choose not to vote. Way to give the men that fought, bled, and died to give you your right to vote a nice slap in the face.

Exercising the liberty they died for: To have the right to vote. Doesn't mean I have to, just that I can.

Thanks. Kratos is fine. A bit sick of Summer in Australia though.
Yeah, but the "dumb people" did vote in this election. The only reason Obama won is because all the minorities looking for a handout voted for Obama while knowing nothing of his economic and foreign policies.MetroidFreak10
Don't blame this on minorites. Almost everyone bought into the hype and the promise for "change." It was a huge victory.

Just curious, who did you vote for? Because I was following some of the lesser known candidates for a while during the campaign.I voted third party, but I preferred McCain over Obama.

I absolutely and completely blame the minorities. Racism today is not anymore that of the Majority vs. the Minority. It is the Minority vs. the Majority. And guess what, the Majority is giving in. If was a young African American graduating from high school with decent grades I could have gone to almost any school in the nation for just about free with all the scholarships available to people of African descent. Is this a form of racism, YES, how many scholarships do you see being made available to only "whites" or "Caucasians"? Why is this, because if there were scholarships only available to white people the minorities would SCREAM racism. Whatever...I'm done, Have a good day. Then you should have voted for the one you knew at least had a chance to win.[QUOTE="Theokhoth"]

While I see your point, thats not who he wanted. I dont believe in voting for the lesser evil or for the guy that might win.

Voting for the lesser of two evils (I hate that phrase) at least gives you a chance to get something. It's a whole lot better than nothing. It's like the religious republicans that said they would rather vote for a democrat over Romney because he's Mormon. So instead of getting someone you agree with on 90% of issues and only disagree on very little, you would rather end up with someone you don't agree with at all. It's stupid.I absolutely and completely blame the minorities. Racism today is not anymore that of the Majority vs. the Minority. It is the Minority vs. the Majority. Why are you bringing affirmative action into this? My point was that the Obama Effect caused MANY people of all lineages to succumb to hype. It wasn't just minorities. :|
