So, you're blind, but this person you've been hanging out with is everything you've always wanted, although you've never seen his or her face. Here's the catch: her face is extremely ugly, whatever that might be. Would you date him or her?

I think I would.

Everyone else would though, and I think the majority of reasons why people don't like to date ugly people is not because of what they feel about them, but what others might think about them. I think.

I can't see. Why the hell do I care how someone I love [for their personality] looks? Would you marry someone (stuck with this person the rest of your life...) for being hot or for their personality? I, personally, would go for personality. Looks are a bonus.

yes, i would date her i don't think i would know what she woud look like.

i might get glaucoma later in my years. eye doctor told me because my pupals are bigger then most people.

I don't think blind people are so socially conscious that an uggo for a girlfriend (or boyfriend) would be "the line", for them. Not to sound cold, but that's the likeliest scenario; they wouldn't care and neither would I (at least, I would hope I wouldn't).

I don't see the point of being around an attractive lady if I can't see her. So why not? Although if I were to ever become blind at this stage, I'd cry and probably kill myself.

I think dating as a blind person would be better because you would not be hung up on looks and like a women or man for who they are and not what they look like.

If it's just the face, then it probably wouldn't bother me too much, but if she was morbidly obese or something then I'm just not into that physically. On a side note, one of the most attractive women I've ever seen was blind and I couldn't get her out of my mind for about a fortnight afterwards.

I second what Cfamgcn said, if I like the person for what they are personality wise, I could care less what they look like. Blind or with sight.
