answer to scienceblows: it said what would you BRING with you, not would you have with you. and what does being stranded have to do with humans? i'm human, and i'm stranded. my answer to gettingtired: nobody said anything about size specifications. i chose for my stranded island to be big enough for a runway. or i could have just said a jet and a pilot. jets don't need much a runway at all. better?
This gets me thinking. Well, Hogwarts has a bunch of teenage wizards. Living together, limited staff to a lot of kids. Because it's pretty much only the teachers and Filch, right? That's really not very much authority at all. Guys and girls living together, teenage years. There's no way that they wouldn't be doing sexual things and what's more is, I bet that in that adult section are a ton of sexual spells, like, for instance, spells that instantly induce sexual climax, not to mention a plethora of bizarre stuff I can't even begin to imagine. Also, there's no doubt there are contraceptive spells, spells that can give you better sexuall performance, anything. So, my point is, Hogwarts students must have terrific sex lives.

If there's one thing about the man, it's this I'm sure of: he was pretty open-minded. I don't think he would've minded those sexual activities, period. There's nothing to suggest that he would suddenly become intolerant of ANYTHING, least of all heterosexuality.
