And you had the ability to change the climate of where you live with the climate of another area of the world. What would you exchange with?

It is currently 1 degree Celsius where i live, and its snowing 18 cms tonight, and it also snows tomorrow. I think if i had the choice i would change my climate to that of the most rainiest parts of england. I love the sound and smell of rain and wouldn't mind it all the time.

OM NOM NOM.

Most of the time I would have cold rainy days, sometimes just cold foggy days.

I live in Southern California, and the weather is perfect here. Never heard of rain and if I want snow it's only an hour's drive away from me.

But if I had to, I guess I'd switch it with San Francisco lol, more cool.

Right now the weather here is perfect. For almost 2 weeks, the sky has been blue, with not a single cloud (and for about 5 days of that, there wasn't even a plane contrail in the sky). Temperature has been around 18C, with barely any wind. Just the right temperature for me.

Alot of people i talk to think that the 18-25 range is too cold and they'd prefer 30+, but i feel that 20 degrees is just about perfect.

Ok, my brain doesnt work in C , but I would have it a nice comfortable 75 degrees all year round, and control the rain so it would only rain at nights on the weekdays, but the weekends would always be beautiful and sunny. And only enough rain to make sure the crops and plants and water sheds were restored and full but not overflowing. And tornadoes would only happen to places that made me angry. ^_^

I would just like to have mild weather all year round. I'd like it to be 20-60 degrees F, and I'd like to have some snow and rain on occasion.

same with me but it'd always be really hot and the snow would be so much that we'd have to dig our way out of our houses :)

Well this is the UK, where anything above about 28C is a heatwave it would seem.

There's no perfect place in the world when it comes to weather. So if I was the god of weather, I wouldn't swap, but rather have perpetual cool but not cold weather (+15-20 Celsius area) with a decent mix of sun and clouds, gentle breeze, and the occasional thunderstorm (though not of the wild hail and tornado producing quality). Maybe I'd throw in a scorcher now and then for the people who want to go to the beach. Personally, though, I prefer cooler weather.

Ugh, SF is too cold sometimes. Other parts of the Bay are pretty good though.

I'm really quite jealous, the winters here have gotten -45 and up, where your clothing starts to get frosted over and you get frostbite so fast, and the summers get up to 40 degrees.

I couldn't deal with that. The coldest I can ever remember is about -10C, but that's quite rare. Average low temperature in winter here is 1C, and average high in summer is 21C. Sounds alright, but the main problem is that for about 90% of the year, it's just cloudy. You might not see the sun for weeks, it will just remain cloudy and might not even rain. And that happens in all seasons. It can really be quite depressing.

I'd still die for that, in the winter months (which is 9/12 of them) it gets pitch black at around 5 PM.

I would have our traditional summer weather all year round, but with a little less heat. I would love days up to 35 degrees (instead of them hitting 45 degrees) and then from about 4-6 in the evening just storming all night.

Although I got my allergies which makes spring many times a pain for me, I still will agree with you. Not to warm, not to cold, balanced between rain and sunny.

I'd lower the summer temperature by about 8-10 C where I live, then it'd be perfect.
