what specific role would you choose?
Medic
Recon/Stealth/Sniper
Heavy Weapon Specialist
CGC-Close Quarter Combat
Tactian/Captain/Leader
Lone Wolf/Specialist
I chose a mix of CGC and Recon :P

Or you could be a medic. ;) They dont really do much, correct me if im wrong. I would assume the medic would be pretty much right beside his mates, not sitting in a lounge eating coffee cakes xD.[QUOTE="Melpoe"]
I would be the guy not out on the battlefield, kicking back in medical complaining about my tummy ache :P.

I mean battlefield wise.I know they save lifes but when they are in a gun fight they really dont do much until someone gets shot :PMedics are still armed with weapons and stuff does happen around the bases they work. I know someone who served as a medic in Iraq.[QUOTE="AznKSor"]

correct me if im wrong, but arent medics usually outfitted with the same basic equipment and training as a basic soldier, but with a medical kit and extra medical training?

Medics have a history of wildly short life expectancies on the battlefield. You're making yourself look like a fool.

Agreed, they put themselves in harms way to save others.
"Tactian/Captain/Leader," I suppose.

There is no "basic soldier"in the real Army.Everyone has a specialty. A combat medic's specialty is being a combat medic. (I assume that's what we're talking about here; there are different kinds of medics.) A combat medic will have some of the same equipment as an infantry soldier, though not the same training.

i meant infantry soldier...i just couldnt think of the word at the time. i just meant they would be similar but with medical equipment. and i know they wont have the exact same training as infantry but i would assume they would still have the basics, so theyre not just running round not knowing what to do unless theyre treating an injury.
