would you care?

I'm asking this because it seems that many people on the forums want them to be legalized, and i'm wondering if they'd feel the same way even if their child did it.

I'd be annoyed but I wouldn't punish them badly seeing as about every teenager does it at one point or another.

It is exactly the same as my view on alcohol. If they were under 18, I would be pissed. (or 21, I am still on the fence on what I think should be the legal drinking age) After that no not really unless they did it to the point that it interfered with their school or job.

Pretty much how I feel. The only exception would be if they were living on my property after age 18 and were smoking or storing the stuff at my home.

I'm all for it being legalized. I don't know. I'd be disappointed, I guess, but I'd feel kind of like a hypocrite for feeling that way.

Depends. If he's generally a good and successful child, and only does weed, I wouldn't really care. But if he's a stereotypical lazy pothead, then yes.

I don`t smoke anything, nor does my fiance, but I think I'd be less harsh than he would on kids. I'd just tell them I don't approve whatsoever and depending on their age find a good reaction to it. if I saw it in my house i'd flush it or something and make them watch. He would probably ground them and scream for hours. His career plan is a cop, so that would be why.

Sure, I'd be mad, and I'd probably ground him; but I can't really blame him for it. With all the peer pressure and glorification it's easy to see why it's so appealing to younger people.

I'd be a hypocrite to punish him but I'd be angry depending on his age. If he was 16-18 I wouldn't care as much as if he was 13-15 Alcohol is the same way though I wouldn't be angry past 17. Hell I drink beers with my dad.

If they were doing well in school and staying out of trouble, I wouldn't have too much of an issue with it. Considering my dad, who is quite succesful, both of my brothers, my sister, and my brother in law all smoke(d) weed, and they are all doing quite well, I don't think it matters much. However, I would have one condition: Vaporizer or bong, no joints. Hell, maybe I'd even buy them a vaporizer.

Edit: Also, this is assuming they're at least 16 or so.

As long as they don't overdo it (I think the occasional joint with friends on weekends is okay), and act in a civilized and responsible way, without interferring with school/etc, I'm ok with it. I won't encourage it but I could hardly punish for that.
