I would hide in my closet with a shotgun, my DS, and some candy .Eat the candy, and finally beat f-ing LoZ Phantom Hourglass, the Id just wait to be over run and take a couple out with the shotty before being "recruited". I think eating brains would be fun. I can think of a few people...

1. i would say i would stay where i am.

1. I don't know where I would go. I'd just look for the most defensible position.

2. I would take my family and possibly my friends, depending on access.

1.) I would go to Alaska

2.) This is tough. The more people you bring, the more lives you save but you'll need more supplies and with more people, there might be some trouble in the group. However, with less people you're selfish but you'll have more supplies and less to worry about. To be safe, I would only bring two people - One male and one female. If I do encounter more survivors, I would attempt to save them

3.) In my original location? No. I would grab a scooter and get my ass out of there. Alaska will be my haven.

4.) Arm myself with an assualt rifle equipped with a red-dot scope and silencer set to semi-automatic and a crowbar for close-quarters combat. Also, to set defenses on my house, I would board my entire house with metal sheets and make sure the house has a flat top so I could kill zombies from top. But that would be my last line of defense. My first line would be the terrain and weather of Alaska. To make sure I survive, I would have a copious amount of food, noiseless entertainment (artbook, iPod, and several books), electric generator for warmth, winter clothes, and tons of ammo.

If I have to escape, I would have a backback big enough to carry my stuff and a pouch for my ammo. Also, I would carry a handgun with a silencer. I would make sure my cloths are exceptional for the cold and tight (no loose parts hanging out).

problably an abandoned military base. There is a fort not too far from me that is completely fenced in.

I would live a nomadic life**** going to all the low-populated places and ridding them of zombies. I think zombies in high-density areas would not migrate; they would just stay there and wait. Zombies care for nothing but brains.

For long range I would have a semiautomatic sniper rifle, like an M21 or PSG1 sniper rifle. If I were going to a city I might exchange it for a machine gun or assault rifle with a grenade launcher
For medium range engagements, I might have a shotgun.
For up close, I would have a .22 or 9mm pistol...something I could stuff a lot of ammo into the clips but still be light
For melee, I think an axe would be ideal. So would an aluminum baseball bat.

In terms of defense, well, I would stay mobole. I would move throughout the low-populated areas of California, ridding farms and ranches of zombies and arming any survivors. We would set up anti-zombie clubs, and each weekend we would meet in an area and kill all the zombies.

Why would you use guns without silencers?

First I would get my 4 closest friends, and 4 of us would steal a van. (1 van per person). Three of us would go to a supermarket and fill van up to the brim (including passenger seat) with food, and the 4th person would fill it up with clothes, shovels, axes, and anything else to for foraging / obtaining food once we ran out. The 5th person would steal the biggest RV possible.

Next we fill up our vehicles with as much gas as possible, and fill up buckets and strap them to the roof. Now we start driving as far north into canada as we can. Once we run out of gas, or are about to run out of gas (without using most of the buckets) we set up a "camp" there, and survive for a while.

We probably wouldnt need many weapons, but I would use shotguns, hand guns, sniper rifles, and swords. Swords as a last resort and mostly because it would look cool :P

Up north the winter is longer, and colder weather means that any zombies that come will freeze. There's definitly some holes in this, but its the best idea I could think of.

EDIT: I would definilty have silencers for the guns. This way the zombies cant hear the gun shot, and its harder to find us.

Why would you use guns without silencers?

because I want the zombies to come to us.

Not in a city, of course, but out in the counrty an exposed zombie could easily be shot. If we are quiet and go into a house, the zombies could get the jump on us.

But if that zombie in the house hears a gun shot, it isnt gonna be like "oooh, I should hide and ambush"; no, its gonna come out of the house where we can see it.
