I live on the top floor of an 8 story building, and the building is rather enclosed, and it's a known fact that zombies aren't smart enough to use doors or elevators, so, assuming I could find an adequate food supply, I'd be fine. And I have the material necessary to build a rather powerful gauss rifle in my room, so I'd be extra fine :)

I think the real zombies would be more interested in watching you play rather than attacking you. I can't imagine that they'd make for smart co-op partners, though.

Isn't it obvious? The zombies are testing the waters, gauging our reactions so that when the time comes they'll know what they're up against.
