im 15 and dont have a girlfriend is that weird?

i dont live in a big town but its about 3000 people. im homeschooled and just moved here like 6 months ago. i have neighbors but i dont like them. my dad keeps bugging me to get a girlfriend or just friends. i would like a girlfriend but im nowhere near desperate or anything and im only 15. i keep telling him that once im 16 and i have a car i will go out and make friends and meet a girl but he doesnt beleive me. should i just lie about making friends and make 1 up?

dude **** your dad, he shouldnt be pressuring you into having a girlfriend.  I can imagine how hard it would be to make friends when your homeschooled.  I feel sorry for you.  Can you go to a public school? just wait untill your older dude.  Its really not that important, just drink your sorrow away.

Stop getting home schooled, Go to a actual school and get some friends and a gf there.

Actually, I like to treat my women the way they're supposed to be treated. So I worked out at the gym, finished school, got all of my things off my To-Do list, got a good job, worked a couple years, used the money to get a decent condo, and NOW I'm dating women. thats what I was thinking, except instead of a condo, I was thinking about getting the whole course and get the 5,000 square feet home on a 1 acre lot. All that will be done when I finish law school and rent out an office space in the downtown area of my city.

I have enough pressure during my Senior year of high school with sports and college stuff, having a girlfriend would just add pressure and be a distraction to me.

Besides, I have a lot of friends, many of whom are females, so I'm good in that sense lol.

The whole girlfriend thing  is a bit overrated. If you are lonely, get a girlfriend. If you are not, don't. If you do something you don't want and it involves another person I.E. girlfriend, no one is gonna be happy in the long run.

Definitely not. I'm 16 and I have a girlfriend recently. There's nothing wrong or weird about being single at your age. My girlfriend and I have become friends for about 4-5 years already. We were just friends back then. Love doesn't have to be in such a rush. Take your time. Finding a true, solid relationship with an opposite sex is difficult, but hey, take it easy. Friends are the most important thing at your age. Find them as much as you can.

Girls are overrated...you'll realise how many there is out there...so...just have fun in the meantime, you have PLENTY of chances to get one later.

(same applies for guys if your a girl or your gay)
