[QUOTE="jeff16950_demon"] I totally agree. I am a christian too i guess, but i dont go to church all the time (or anytime for that matter) I dont like poeple who try to enforce their religion onto others, and hell, most wars are based on religion themselves. Take WW2. Yes, germany was taking over other countries, but they also were killing jews-even jews who were german and had lived in germany forever! I mean crap, the only difference between jews and christians is that jews dont believe that jesus was the son of god0 THATS IT! Thats whyI dont believe in hell. Why? Because even the freakin bible says that earth is just like heaven. Well, thats not gonna be fun.

Actually WW2 wasnt for religion at all. Even from Hitlers perspective. It was a war for Land Power, a war of opportunity (Let the commies die) and there are several reasons the US got involved - Retaliation against Japan, and D-Day was to prevent Russia from grabbing TOO much land during their fight against germany.
Hitler slaughtered the jews from a purification standpoint, he was killing others as well. He used the Jews as a scapegoat, not because he really had something against their religion but because it was the easy thing to do. If everyone was an athiest he would have just slaughtered all the non-whites or everyone of a certain nationality.
Hitler wasn't killing Jews for their religion, it was for their race. There's a difference between the Jewish race and Judaism as a religion. Some christians and churches in Europe converted Jews to save them from the Holocaust but they were taken anyway. And back to the main topic, I sorta agree. I know people at my school that push it way too much and make a fool of the majority of Christians but I think even more don't do enough.
