I'm due for a new Smart Phone and the best phone that Rogers has right now is the Galaxy Captivate S for $50.00.

But Samsung is already about to release the Captivate S2, so should I wait, or is there another Smart Phone I should try? I need better battery life and the iPhone doesn't have that. I'm looking at Androids. Any suggestions?

The iPhone 4 battery life is fantastic? I use mine constantly and it has never gone dead (I charge it every night.) I've been on it for 6 hours of use and a few hours of stand by time on top of that and it hadn't went dead. It's not the best battery life out there, but it is great for all it does.

Actually, the iPhone has the very best battery life out of all smartphones. Its quite amazing how long it lasts.

You really can't go wrong with the iPhone 4 (contrary to what so many haters say). Overall, the app store is simply superior to Android's. And the phone still holds up. It's very fast and smooth. Sure, the specs are not as great, but that makes the battery life last longer, and the phone still performs extremely well (better than a lot of other smartphones). Also, the phone has one of the best screens around (retina display is stunning), and a front facing camera for video conferencing which a lot of smartphones still dont have (not just Facetime, the Skype app works perfectly anywhere with 3G).

That said, Apple is bound to release a new iPhone in the summer, so you should wait in case you don't want to feel cheated.
