I'm feeling awfully down because of 3 things.

I met a girl off of a dating site 2 weeks ago and it's been going great until2 days ago. What happened was I texted her2 days ago and she hasn't responded. Furthermore, I called her and again no response. Yesterday was the UFC fight with brock lesnar and that other spanish fighter, I wanted to see this fight and one of my good friends doesn't invite me. He invites my other friend but not me. They had a party in this house I wasn't invited. One of my female friend's birthday party is this saturday and i won't be able to go because i'm not 21 yet. It's in a lounge and there will be alcohol so it's 21 to enter. I'm feeling down and lonely, I been single for like 2 years now maybe more. Have you ever experienced this and do you have any suggestions?

Stop caring about pointless things? Such as relationships.

Being single at 20 is a normal thing. She wasn't the one for you. Better luck next time and I wouldn't be upset about it if I were you. We all get rejected/turned down at one point in our livesbesides, there are more important things to do at your age than to be in a relationship.

Anywho TC, don't worry because you aren't the only person in a slump and the situation is what you make of it

I've been single for 3 years and some change now. I had plenty of chances to have a girlfriend but didn't jump on it since im too afraid of commitment. It really sucks but in turn I've been focusing on many other things and finding talent I didn't know I had before (breakdancing)

Point is, to get out of a slump you have to do (positive) things that make you happy and to find said things you have to put out the effort

i was shocked at how the UFC fight turned out. I'm the loneliest person in College and i don't keep any friends coz of my low self-esteem, even though its depressing every day wishing i wasn't interrupted when i tried commit suicide. Just don't let "love" and all that bull**** let you down!

Anyways don't worry TC, the thing is alot of those women on the dating sites are usually out to get their own ego boosted. Alot of them seem to join to see how many responses and attention they'll get from guys, and to sorta toy around with them. Think about it, an attractive girl would have guys talking to them in real life with ease. So you've gotta wonder why they'd resort to using a dating site unless there wasn't an ulterior motive of some sort, I'm not saying all women on dating sites are like that because I'm sure there are some who are looking for a legit relationship but a good amount of them seem to be doing it for the attention. I'd say don't worry much about the dating stuff for right not, you're young and have got your whole life to find someone, enjoy it.

As for your friends, depends on what you wanna do really maybe you should ask why you weren't invited? just casually mention it or if not the next time you throw a party or go out to do something ignore them and make no effort to include them. Don't worry man I'd say you'll be fine just keep your head up and try to branch out a little with meeting new people 8)
