Hey everyone, I don't usually post on the forums, but I do float by and read as things can be fairly interesting around here. Anyways, I'm feeling pretty down today, not quite sure why either. I was supposed to wake up and meet some friends for breakfast this morning, but instead I slept in. I woke up around 10, and all I have done so far is eat a little breakfast, then an hour later I ate a popcicle, then after a bowl of ice cream, and then some left over food from a party from last night, all within about a couple hours. I've been watching tv, consisting of my favorite comedy tv shows, which usually make me laugh my head off. But today I just feel... Depressed?

I've never blown off plans that I have made, especially with my friends. So I just feel, depressed or something. So, if anyone else has ever felt this way, please share. I feel like I'm on the verge of letting the water works flow, but I don't know why. Anyone have any ideas?

Hmmm...did you see/experience anything depressing recently? It doesn't even have to concern you necessarily, but did you see like a story on the news that depressed you? Cloudy day? That's all I got.

You'll just be feeling fed up. I get that a lot - especially in the holidays. Also sleeping in makes me feel lathargic which could be contributing to how you're feeling. Get a nice hot shower and do something you enjoy. You won't feel like it but exercise is fantastic to perk you up. Either that or have some chocolate :P

Take a shower with the windows open and lights off( assuming it's daylight). Then listen to some uplifting music

WhenI feel like that the best thing I find is to get off the computer,turn off the tv or video games,and go do something physical that will take my mind into auto. usually by the time i ma done the mood has passed.

It is cloudy today... But I like rainy days :?. I can't think of anything that would have put me in a mood like this. I woke up like this, but I'm not sure why.

Do something you enjoy.. I am guessing games becasue your on Gamespot so why don't you invite those friends round for a few rounds of your favourite game? you may just feel down cause you missed a chance to hang about with your friends.

if this does happen regularly then you might have a little problem but feeling down one day is normal. Maybe you're just having an off day :?

Go out for a walk/jog? I find nothing calms me down better than jogging int he rain then coming home to a hot shower :o

What you need to do is go to sleep. Or go ride a roller coaster or do something really adventurous. I recommend mountain climbing.

Hey thanks guys. My fiancee just called and comforted my poor troubled soul haha. She always has had a way to lift me up when I have been down before. Thanks for the suggestions again guys, I'll be sure to use some of them next time!

Those moods usually hit me late at night, so I just go for a long walk in either the large park across the street from my dorm or around campus. Even though it doesn't help me with any of my problems, it usually does make me feel a bit better...

Could be a nightmare you had, but have fully or partly forgotten.

If so, some deep and buried feelings might have been awaken, as dreams often represents suppressed feelings.

eeh, might just be your brains chemical ballance that is a bit off today, if it continues for a few more days, you might want to head down to your doctor, and have a checkup, could be a depression.
