Think it only takes like 15-20 minutes. If that. I remember it wasn't very long at all.

Your teeth are going to feel very, very slimy. It's almost uncool for a few days.

i cant remember exactly, but i think its around an hour or so, maybe an hour and a half from the time they start till you walk out the door. they polish your teeth (varies from orthodontist) and they gotta grind away all the cement thats left behind, thats the worst part, thats about it. Congrats!!!!

I got mine off last Tuesday. The appointment took about 40 minutes but that took a bit of waiting so I guess 20-30 minutes. Your teeth will feel really gluey afterwards.

A few mins to take them off. I thought he'd loosen the glue but he just ripped them straight off my teeth! It doesn't hurt...much :P Retainers take a bit though, to get the molds and all

I heard that your teeth feel slimey afterwards, would brushing them make the slimey feeling go away?

Brush a couple of times and the feeling is gone... eating a banana however is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

They do but the feeling returns to normal after an hour of so. I couldn't stop licking my teeth when I had them off! The only bad thing was that I had a plastic pallet on the roof of my mouth for a year and the gum had molded around it. So when it got took off I had a ridge of gum that took a few weeks to flatten down :|

It didn't hurt me, it was actually a HUGE relief. I hated when they used a grinder to get the glue off though... especially the smell, God...

I think it took an hour or so to get them off. It was extremely easy and painless. It's feels like you were just let out of prison.

Congrats. *Points to braces* I've had these on for about 4 years accumulated. I got them put back on last year. From my experience, getting them on is a tad bit shorter than getting them off. Not much longer than 30 minutes I'd say.

EDIT: oh you already have them off.....XD...
