I'm going to meet Barack Obama!

So Barack Obama is doing another tour across the state tomorrow on the way to a rally at the capital... I RSVP'ed to attend the Lancaster train station greeting, and was wondering what it might be like.

It is at 6PM, and the rally at the capital is at 8:30 or something... SO how long do you think he'll be there? I'm not sure how far the drive is from there to the capital, but do you think he'll give a short speech? The description says he'll be meeting and speaking with Pennsylvanians, so maybe I can shake his hand...I have chills thinking about it.

I might attend the rally if I can find someone to go with me because I don't know exactly how to get to Harrisburg.

Check if he is the anti-christ by shaking his hands, If you feel an overwhelming force of evil and a coldness that stills you to the bones, then run. If not, you can relax, and then tell us, so we can sleep soundly at night knowing at least one politician is not going to contribute to the apocalypse.

thats great. he seems like a great man and i hope you enjoy. I like his campaigning. He is so mature, professional and speaks about issues more then any of the other candidate. all the others ever do is try to dog him and evade important questions. i guess they think everybody is blind and can see the childist and desperate behaviour.

I'm definitely thinking of going to the capitol on my own.. It'll be insanely awesome. I think it's an outdoor rally on the steps of the capitol so that should be really nice.

Ask him about his membership to the Council on Foreign Relations and how that is going to influence his foreign policy decisions if elected as president. I bet he won't answer. That crook.

Another question. It says the events are free and open to the public, but it will be on first come first serve basis, and RSVP'ing is recommended.

So, since I RSVP'ed, would I be guranteed entry, or would you think it's still first come first serve? The email I got just said like "thank you for planning to attend".

If I go to the capitol, I should probably get there VERY early right? I remember seeing in the newspaper one of his big rallies a few weeks ago people were out there before sunrise and that line stretched with like several hundered people there hours before the gates even opened. The gates for the 8:45 rally open at 6:30, so do you think getting there at 4:30 would be early enough?

Good for you! i met and spoke with him on the morning before he gave his big address to the democratic convention in 04, the speech which put him in the national spot light. i was also there for the speech later that night.... amazing doesnt even cover it. the energy in the room... alll of a sudden i understood how good public speaking could get hitler to rule a nation. the power of a speech cannot be underestimated

If McCain wins, half of america will lose hope in their country, and the world will shake their heads at the continuation of the disasterous republican policies and idealogies that have run america into the ground.
