I have a PS3, hooked up through HDMI, and I getting the Bluray, I have a 32" LCD, and I have 2 bigger TV's in my house, way bigger. 2 questions, will it look good on my LCD, and is it worth it without the 3D?

Unless one of those are 3D TV's,I am not sure how the 3D version will help you.kakkarott23
Unless you plan on buying a $2500 3D television, there is no reason to wait. A few months ago I had tried watch the last final destination movie. On the bluray there was both the regular 2D version and the 3D version. I tried watch the 3D version with glasses that I stole.....borrowed from an IMAX theater but it did not work. The glasses did not make the picture look 3D. Maybee I needed to use the cheap paper blue & red glasses?? But it definitley did not work with the official Imax glasses.
Plus, I don't care about directory commentaries/interviews so I would not wait for the super hardcore/NERDcore version in the fall.
it will probably look awesome. my friend told me he watched it on blu ray and it was awesome, but then again he has a huge projector screen in his room, so probably anything will look great on it. either way, it's probably still only $20 so i'd say go for it.

yeah, it might be that you need the red/blue glasses. i was told that there is a difference between the red/blue and other kinds of 3d glasses, which i'm sure is true. i'd assume that when you buy a movie in 3d, you'd need the red/blue glasses since they are much cheaper. i know a few managers at a movie theater near me, and one of them told me the kind they let you use there (not the red/blue ones) are like $20 each. and the store i work at, when that Michael Jackson "This Is It" movie had just come out on DVD, we were giving away 3d red/blue glasses, so they're probably dirt cheap to make. Please Log In to post.
