About intel's processors. Well the last laptop that I had was a Centrino and all i know about are Pentiums Celerons and Centrinos. My question is that are Dual Cores any good since it seems to be Intel's base processor now adays. I knew a few years back that Celeron was the base processor and it really sucked. Are dual cores any good?

Those might be core 2 duos which have some of the features stripped (lower L2 cache for example). Think Celeron to Pentiums, except without the suck.

Dual core laptops are the best out there that are still reasonably priced, I think there are a couple of quad core models out there.
