I'm scared my gas is going to evaporate. Help!

I just went to fill up gas earlier today. I screwed the gas cap on past all of the clicks. Is that good? Or does it matter?

Reminds me of a story where a couple of idiots wanted to steal fuel from a trabant. And checked if there's any fuel in with a matchstick.

actually it did happen. they were crossing a bridge over the chicago river in chicago and dumped their waste tanks onto a boat passing belowFUBAR24
