A girl told my friend that I'm very nice even though I've never even talked to her. I just think that's weird. Why would she say that?

I say a lot of people are nice. A lot of people say I'm nice. Does it mean all of them want to do me or that I want to do all of them? Most certainly not. Some people just think others are nice after having known them very little and comment on it.
However, seeing as she's said you seem nice to her, go ahead and talk to her. Where's the harm?
Well, if you are an adult, get in there son. If you are not, dismiss what I just said. Women are weird creatures lol.
I severely doubt that
Move on with your life

Women tend to be weird. You'll get used to it.
What in the hell makes you think that we know why she thinks that? Ask her, not us.
Because we know everything :D
@pero2008:
You did something nice --> someone saw it --> someone tells that girl --> she says you're nice, or maybe she saw you doing something nice, and/or she likes you.
Your actions can have positive outcomes and can allow you to have a good reputation. Keep it up. And follow up on that girl. Maybe she likes you.
How can she say I'm very nice though when we never talked? I used to be shy but I'm not shy anymore though.
She's basically telling her friend that you've been friend-zoned and will never escape it. Accept the compliment and move on with your life.
I'm sure she's hoping that by saying you're nice, you won't end up secretly stalking her like so many other guys.
If you've never met her friend before, maybe she said that so that if all 3 of you ever hang out, she will be a little more comfortable knowing that you aren't some asshat. Friends have said that about me to their friends before I meet them because I guess being a large, shaved headed guy makes people uneasy.
EDIT: Wait, the friend you've never met said that about you? Well, that's just weird. Maybe she thinks she met you before or something.
@-paranorman-: I'll explain it more since it seems confusing. I'm working with my one friend the other night and he said he texted this girl and I was brought up in the conversation not exactly how but she said I'm very nice and he said how would you know you and him have never talked to each other. So later he gets a text from her saying come to this bar and he said maybe I will and he'll bring me since we got off at the same time. Well, didn't go to the bar but he said she has social anxiety.
