I'm watching The Descent right now.

This movie is so boring I can hardly stay awake.  Nothing scary has even happened yet and i'm half way through the damn thing.

Could someone explain to me why people hold this movie to such high regards? 

I thought it was a great movie, except that it wasn't scary at all. Except the part in the car.

I did like it. It was a mixture of the classic, creature films with a claustrophobic setting. Compared to other, modern horror films, The Descent pulled it off. 

I didn't find the movie scary at all.  It terrified my girl friend, who clung to me and screamed her head off during the film.  It gave her some bad dreams. 

Seriously, the little things in the movie are level 4 ghouls!  I could kill one just by rolling my STR and basic blunt weapon skill! 

I never thought much of the movie. I guess people tend to hold movies in high regard when they have a lot of gore and hot women... but I dunno, it just wasn't enough.JustPlainLucas

The gore was lacking, and the women weren't attractive. In my opinion, it was a good movie just because it's better than the rest of the trash Hollywood is throwing at us.  It was a good change of pace.
