Important Poll of the Day: Would you rather lose hearing or vision?

Welcome back to another exciting night of the Important Poll of the Day! Tonight is a more debatable topic, so lets carry on.

I was discussing this with my friend, sammyjenkis89, and I couldn't decide. Would I rather suffer a loss of hearing, or suffer a loss of vision? If you read my thread the other day, you probably know I almost suffered a loss of vision, and it was not fun. My only gripe with losing my hearing is not being able to have conversations, and not being able to listen to music. But with with a loss of vision, no more video games, no more movies (but you can listen to the dialogue.

So which would you rather lose? Vision or hearing?

What's a horrible proposition...if I had to choose, I'd go hearing.

Hearing... I feel as though vision is far more important...

Well if I'm blind can I get an eye donation?

Easily hearing. You would barely be able to do anything if you were blind

I would change my vote to Vision if i could, but I wouldn't be able to live without music.

Without vision, I couldn't appreciate losebam's sig.

Hearing. Most definitely.

There's surgery to make vision better, not make someone see again after they've been blind.

Actually it depends. I read a while ago that there's procedures they have that can restore a very small amount of vision. I think it's mostly light though. Also to someone else: there are hair restoration surgery procedures now too. They take hair follicles from the back of your head and implant them to the front area of your head where hair is receding.-Unreal-

I already know American Sign Language so I'd take losing my hearing in a heartbeat.

I'd rather still be able to read and not walk into moving vehicles.

Hearing. Could care less what people have to say to me. I don't like having long conversations either unless we are buds.

I enjoy vision more, so I would lose hearing, though I do love music.

I would change my vote to Vision if i could, but I wouldn't be able to live without music.

I feel like imagination with hearing would serve better than to not hear at all. What a dull life without sounds.

anyway...i'd choose death, seriously...

I do not want to live without sound, without hearing birds singing every morning, hearing a beautiful girl say " yes" to me .... without music...music is a huge part of my life...

Nor do i want to live without seeing...not seeing my friends and family's faces, smiles, the colours of spring and autumn, any color for that matter ... even seeing some stuck up chick trip after she just told you off...pfffft...

If I had to choose what u said...I'd say shoot me...

Hearing.

Even though I listen to music ALL THE TIME...I would have to go with hearing. You can't do anything when you're blind, so I'm willing to sacrifice my second favourite past time for that... :(

I have a feeling I'll be going deaf soon anyways, since I already have terrible hearing as it is...with my eyesight on the other hand being awesome to say the least...lol.

Obvious answer and over asked question.. Hearing. More perks to losing hearing than vision..

It's a really tough one, and a close call, but I'd choose to go deaf.

I adore music so much, but I like looking at stuff and reading just a little bit more.

I'd go with losing my hearing. Some of my friends know sign language.

Hearing, honestly. I'd hate to give up music, it's my favorite medium, but god damn, losing the eyes would just make day to day life horrible.

I'd want to lose hearing, I don't think I could live in darkness for the rest of my life, and I'd miss movies and music.

I'd also be pretty upset about not having the ability to see the people I love.
