Importatn before your making your movie

Do you think its important to try to have the films atmosphere/feeling BEFORE your making you movie ? And
allmoust think of your film as a rollercoster ride ?

Do you think this helps the film to get more real ? Like, forgets that this film has bin made by people ?

se7en and Terminator and Jurrasic park are good examples of this.

Do they call this filmmaking something ?

I mean the difference between the realness in die hard 2 og 4 is the way they treat the line "have you done this stuff before" :

In die har 4, the film like says to the adience "hey hey, hes done this before! this is a film! "
