In Flames \m/

In Flames is one of my favorite metal bands, I've been listening to them for over 5 years now. If anyone out there loves In Flames please post you're thoughts on the band and maybe we can discuss some of their best songs :D And I'm from Sweden, Gothenburg (the city where every member grow up). I saw them about a week ago, best metal concert I've ever been to. In Flames we Trust \m/

I also love in flames :) although I have yet to see them live..... I only have there 3 most recent albums though I need to get hold f there older ones. My favourite track so far is disconnected, I just love that track :)wigan_gamer

Yeah, Disconnected is one hell of a good song :D My favorite album is probably R2R (Reroute to Remain). Every single song on that album gives me goosebumps. System, Drifter, Dawn of a New Day, Minus, Free Fall and Metaphor are the best imo :D Some of their older material (like The Jester Race and Whoracle) are really awesome too. December Flower, Artifacts of the Black Rain, Jotun, The Hive. God I love em all :D

There are maybe 2 or 3 melodeath bands I can tolerate, but overall the genre bores me, too clean sounding, which usually isnt a problem for me but I like a crunchy guitar. Clear tones for me are in my prog rock collection, but if I'm listening to metal I like a bit of crunch.

Lunar Strain is the only song I like from them.

Other than that I tend to dislike "Melodic" Death Metal, I prefer actual Death Metal instead. Its waaaayyyyy better...
