IF and only if, we stop polluting.Theidea that the destruction of the planet is far away and it is not going to affect you is a fallacy.Now you can deny it or accept it and take action.And by taking action doesn't mean you have to do something HUGE or something unachievable...it stands for simple things like recycling or not throwing litter eveywhere.

Yeah, and as odd as it may sound a war over the moon could occur. I read an article that China wants to go to the Moon and establish a base because there is a mineral up there that could be used for energy.
Oh come now, in 30 years we would have a found ways to convert the world's ocean water into fresh water that we can use. There will be no wars due to water shortage.
If things keep going like this, then yes. Some areas around the globe (Africa, Asia) will become even more dryer, forcing people to move away from those areas. This migration could force nations in these areas to go to war over clean water sources in neighboring countries.
