In three days, I will know if I got into Harvard or not.

Three days! Oh the agony!

In the meanwhile, I got accepted into Boston College and Boston University. I guess I will fall back on those schools should Harvard reject me... I hear BU is good... Haven't heard too much about BC, though. Behind the Gothic-style campus, is it good?

BC is a much better school than BU. Better basketball team, too. And at least BC *has* a campus. BU is just buildings in the city.

I found out that I got into Brown a couple of days ago.

I think with BC and BU it depends on what you want to major in. BU has a really good bussiness school, and BC has a really good law school (from what I have heard).

I thought BU looked pretty cool. I wouldn't mind going there.

Both are fine schools. You should feel great going to either. But, in my professional opinion, I would say BC is the better school by a few notches.

I'm majoring in business - with an emphasis in finance. Seeing the rankings on BusinessWeek, BC's business school is ranked pretty damned high, about 25 places above BU!

Though I still wouldn't mind majoring in economics at Harvard, though. It seems so far away...

They are all good schools; I liked BC's campus more than BU's. But it isn't just about what you get into, at least for most people. I was accepted in Columbia but got next to nothing in financial aid, so it wasn't a great option for me. There's a lot more to consider then what is accepted and what isn't.
