In your minds eye, who's the most badass character ever?

Such a intangible word to describe a character, whether it be from a movie, TV show, video game, or anything else. It's certainly hard to measure, and everyone has their own definition of the word, but you definitely know it when you see it and you sense all the bad-ass-ery that is radiating off of this character and that image throws shivers down your spine.

My personal vote goes for Ragnar Lothbrok from the History channel TV series Vikings.

Pfft Lagertha could probably kick his ass.

All time, I don't know. Recently, John Wick.

In TV? Jaqen H'ghar from game of thrones is pretty badass.

these guys just won't give up.

and also Louis Bloom from the recent film "Nightcrawler." He was all kinds of crazy but he know how to kick ass with his words.

Mustang is probably the most powerful character in the FMA universe, it's just that the writer gave him constant power blocks to keep the plot going on.

Titus Pullo, soldier of the Roman elite 13th legion (played by Ray Stevenson in "Rome", who also played The Punisher, another unarguable badass character)

Loved Alucard from Hellsing and I also think that the girl from You're Next kicks all kinds of ass.

Bill the Butcher from Gangs of New York.

Joker (be it Nicholson's, or Ledger's or Hamil's or even the comic version). I can't see the reason why some people chose Corvo, that dude didn't even speak a single word throughout the entire game; and we almost never saw his face. He's practically a nobody, a nothing(this comes from a hard core fan of the game). Dante on the other hand is a good choice.

what's amazing is that if you look you can find real people that surpass most things that fictional ones do.

just one such example would be audie murphy who won the congressional medal of honor for this.

Murphy's unit was down to 19 men out of 128. They couldn't fight, they needed to rearm, and they needed somebody to hold the line. So Murphy stayed behind, shooting Germans until he ran out of ammo. Then, deciding he wasn't done killing Germans, he jumped onto a burning tank and starting using its .50 caliber machine gun. He even killed an entire squad of Germans trying to sneak up on him. Oh, and he did this for almost an hour, while wounded in the leg. And then his men showed up, and Murphy led them on a forward action. Translation: after spending an hour in the freezing cold on a burning tank spraying Germans with machine gun fire, he decided that wasn't enough and decided to get close and personal.

there are literally thousands of stories just as bad ass as this.

and they are real.

lol. james bond. are you guys out of your mind? james bond, jason bourne, jack bauier are typical good guys heroes. bieng a badass you dont need to be typical good guy. just anti hero so in the world of movies most badass is Riddick and when it comes to games its Lo wang, Agent 47, geralt of rivia, doom guy
