Mario is a ton of fun. Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Mario 64, Mario Sunshine, and some of the other Mario games (as I like to call them - the side stories, lol), are CLASSICS. I started playing Mario when I was 5, I'm 21 now and still play them and look forward to their release. Can't wait for Mario Galaxy. On top of the fact, that you have to understand, Video Games in the 1980's weren't the same as they were today, nor were they as controversial. There weren't games with tons of violence and graphic images. Anyways, I think that Grand Theft Auto and Dead or Alive (when did this become popular anyways? Tekken smokes it, and always has) are the most overrated game series.
LOL got you.. but seriously Half Life 1 was good and they should have ended it there. I just cant stand that Gordon Freeman says nothing in the game and is told what to do most of the times. I am sorry but HL is not the best game for me out there.

I second that. It probably has the most contrived and ridiculouly over-dramatic stories I have ever heard of. Not to mention the gameplay isn't very good at all.

The game is pretty damn funny, but the gameplay itself is just okay and gets fairly old by the end. If the game were any longer than 2 hours it would have been a real drag to finish.
Agreed. I'm a bit shocked someone said Mario. People actually enjoy Mario and not for purely nostalgic reasons. People like Final Fantasy games for non-nostalgic reasons...
