Inception VS Avatar

Which movie is better? Inception or Avatar?

Inception to me seems like the much better movie it has a more interesting story and better acting...then again I haven't even watched Avatar aside from the many clips and videos shown in stores, on television, and on the internet...I do own it though.

Inception. I didn't like Avatar that much.

Inception wins for more, and yes, I do like James Cameron's Avatar.:P

inception. avatar was good but inception was much more thrilling and had a much better story.

I was letdown by Inception, though it was still a fantastic film. Can't say the same about Avatar.

I've seen Avatar but not Inception, so on that note my vote goes to Inception.

Inception. Blue monkey indian people aren't my thing. Inception had a plot that wasn't completely ripped from another story or movie.

That's like asking "Filet Mignon or a bowl of cereal?" Inception was a fantastic, original film that tried something unique, and while it may have missed at a few points, it was extremely compelling and entertaining while still being thought provoking. Avatar was run of the mill sci-fi with admittedly very nice visuals, but that's about it.

Inception destroys avatar.

10 years from now Inception will still be an awesome movie, where as avatar will be horrible, because the only thing it has going for it is the special effects which will be outdated pretty fast.

The plot is horrible, there are no grey areas of morality, the white americans are evil and the pretty blue navis can do no wrong. There are tons of plot wholes i.e the main character NEVER not ONCE tries to play diplomat. He would have been on the side of his people if he didnt jump into the body of his avatar and experience what their world is like so who the heck is he to say that the people other than the main marine soldier just dont understand and never will so they all have to die??. I mean he kills like HUNDREDS of people and never even tried to prevent the fighting on either side. WTF..

Also he never even tried to warn the navi that they should leave so they wont um... DIE when the humans come to take down the tree. He just ASSUMES that they will never leave so he doesnt even bother telling them until its to late.

Horrible horrible movie.

Avatar was pretty good I'll admit, but Inception was at least 3 times better.

I think inception had a better story and better acting. But Avatar was also very good visually. The world and ideas were pretty cool. But inception was pretty amazing.
