especially the big toe? I never had an ingrown toenail and Im glad I dont.

Google images of gruesome ingrown toe nails. Oh my god. Mommy. Daddy lol Make those images go away :P

No, but I have foot fungus and I think it's messing up my toenails. Most of the time it's not that bad. Hell, it's actually even a little convenient. It makes my toenails really weak and pliable, so for most of my toes I can clip them without even having a clipper on hand. When they get too long, I can just grab the edge and pull on it, and the long part of the toenail just peels right off. My only problem is with the big toe. The big toe being the biggest toe, that also means it has the biggest and most badass toenail. So even with the foot fungus, the nail on my big toe is too thick to just peel off. What has happened though, is that it has started to split down the middle. This split is parallel to the axis of growth, which means that even when the toenail grows the split just grows along with it. Hasn't become a problem yet, but my fear is this...eventually I'm gonna snag my toenail on something, and end up splitting my toenail all the way down to the root. Or even worse, accidentally snagging my toenail on something and ripping half of my toenail comepletely off. I thought of trying to seal that toenail crack with superglue, but I'm just worried that I'll apply too much superglue. If that superglue manages to seep THROUGH the crack in my toenail, then it could fuse my toenail with the underlying skin. And that could be a huge freaking problem, considering that the toenail is designed to consatntly move forward.

Yeah, friggin hurts. I've had some minor infections (pus, etc) but nothing too bad, thank god.

Yea I had one on each foot when I was younger. I also played soccer at the time, not a good combination. I had laser surgery to get them from growing back again.
