The following is the manifest to my book.

There are 3 main ways to explain the universe. The first is religion, in which many find haven from the most difficult questions. The second is science, in which some look for more complicated and definite solutions. The third is philosophy, which is by far the most complicated, and simple, as it encompasses the other two into a less tangible form. For thousands of years, humans have searched for answers to life's mysteries and in many ways, have found them. However, as answers were found, more questions were uncovered, and here lies the basis for trouble. Humans have a natural need to be correct, and while they believe that they are correct, others do not. Because of this, conflict between the three arises. No definite answer was, or is to be found, for in order for that to occur, one of the three must become dominant.

In order to achieve a state of security then, one must achieve the most objective of views. They must see past their binding cultural inhibitors and in the most absolute sense, defy their need for an answer. The universe would not need to be explained, therefore, and would not create any tension. This is because although humans indefinitely search for an ultimate answer, there is none that would satisfy the three. One must rise above their weaknesses, and not pursue their struggles any longer, for the universe is only as you would believe it to be.

I also believe that intelligence is relative. As for your "Wall of text" comment, I read it, and honestly agreed with you.

Ok, I read that over again. I don't think that humans will ever stop wondering about the mysteries of the universe, though. Just wondering, are you talking about the cause of the world's problems? Or am I way off?

On a more serious note, I feel I must disagree.

Human expansion is necessary for the overall growth of our species, and this is not possible without wondering. The traces of humanity straining against one another are evident even today, and like two male lions in to close proximity, either one will move, or die. The only way for humanity to survive as a whole is to expand, one day off of earth I believe.

Our exponential growth is unmatched, and without wondering, without hope we have no where to go, not able to excel upwards as I believe our race is capable of. With the advancement of modern technology, unfortunately comes the advancement of weapons of war, bombs included. One day undoubtedly there will be one great enough to destroy this earth, and unless we can escape this unfortunate circumstance, humanity shall be eradicated.

Just my beleif anyway ^^

The problem I see with your logic is that you're putting religion on the same footing as science and philosophy when it comes to explaining things. The problem is that whereas science and philosophy work on the principle that there tangible real world answers that can be backed up with fact and reason, religion relies almost entirely on faith alone. If you bring up an argument against someones religious beliefs, even when those arguments are supported with logic and reason, many religous people will brush it off, becasue they see thier faith as a trump card to tangible real-world conclusions that science and philosophy can provide.

Lately i've been revising my own outlook on the universe and it is something as follows.

Mankind has encountered an insoluble problem. The attempt of understanding the workings of an inhuman and thus estranged universe. The reason this problem will never be solved through science, religion, philosophy or any other method is due to the medium. The mind. The human conscious mind is completely unlike that which it observes. Within the mind the absolution of the universe is rent into so various portions that the singlularity that is the universe can never be observed nor recreated in any form that does not resolve into differentiation. Only in the mind does the universe have definition, and the mind must define things as best as it can understand them on a single level, a middle level at best. Our understanding of the macrocosm and microcosm is lofty at best, and dull at worst. The very medium which we use to understand the world around us estranges us from it. For if the age of Enlightenment was so much as we say it to be then humanity would live in equilibrium with the world and universe around us, sadly this is not the case. For as human consciousness expands our ability to properly assess the world around us dulls from narrow conceptions and the need for human absolution over the absolution of the universe.

And thats my own take on this.

Please note that my monologue was an inquiry, not a definite statement. I stated that in order to remove tension, one of the three must become dominant. Doing so would indeed forward the growth of our species. The second paragraph was by no means a call to action, and to fully understand you would have to read the rest of my book.

My inquiry was focused not on the answer. Tell me, even if you knew the answer, would that change anything? You would still be asking questions. What you said about death is interesting. Death would be interesting.

I sort-of understand this concept but it's hard to find the question if there is one.
