I think many things can have adverse effects on the brain. The internet can develop into an addiction like anything else and I don't really think that you could make a compelling argument that using the Internet in moderation is bad for your health.

That sig has positive effects on the brain.
So does your avatar <3Not if you have everything set to private and you don't post idiotic things on there.[QUOTE="lo_Pine"]
This site is much better than Facebook anyway. Facebook is being used against you as you speak by employers.

Oh, like I said, I don't have a Facebook so I only know what I read in the WSJ and The Times.
I'm starting to think OT usage has adverse effects on the brain.Allicrombiestarting?...oh no it's effecting you too!...
My life without the internet would be boring. It's so bad that I rely on it so much, even for looking up something quickly ... it's right there.
Lol TYT
Why is OT always so obsessed with them? Those guys are full of sh!t. Though I think TC does have a point (as does Pirate in the second post), they both pointed out how crazy people get, especially over things like Facebook.
It's a bit scary how some people get obsessed with things like that, especially Facebook because if you get down to it, most people use it to satisfy their own ego's and not really connect with friends.

I thought that I was the only person "obsessed" with TYT. Most users here give me flack for posting links to their videos, so I don't get your point.

She's so beautiful, that if she is ever kidnapped, no charges should be filed against the kidnapper. Abducting her would be a case of justifiable kidnapping. :P
Well, if they like getting on the Internet, let them get on the Internet! I love getting on the Internet because I love getting on the Internet, but that's just me. I understand some people don't like getting on it, but I like getting on the Internet after a hard day at school or work, it's rather relaxing, in my opinion. If they love the Internet, just let them "lovers" do what they do best, talk crap on the Interwebz. Nothing is going to stop them from having fun, right?! ;) :) "Oh wait, I'm on GameSpot and I do that.... big hypocrite alert!" :P
i think internet usage increases hyperactivity in alot of people, not sure if that's true, but whatever.

I jerked to your sig 13 times in the last minute and I feel great.
[QUOTE="GOGOGOGURT"]Poor internet alots, always being used. ... unless you meant internet a lot. They must use the internet alot.

I mean that explains why the young turks are buffoons. They use the internet a lot.
I thought that had something to do with that group anonymous saying they were gonna hack facebook...I'd have to agree. I remember a few months back when facebook was down for a few hours, there were threads on here from kids that were in complete hysterical PANIC about not being able to get on the site. It was beyond sad and scary.
