Introducing - "The 'Merica Burger"

California burger chain Slater's 50/50 may be bringing home the bacon, now that its menu features a burger made of 100 percent ground bacon. Not to gild the lily, but the Fourth of July-inspired The 'Merica burger comes topped with a slice of thick-cut bacon, bacon island dressing, and bacon flavored cheddar cheese. It's only nonbacon topping is an impressive sunny-side-up egg.

Looks pretty damn tasty. Luther burger looks better though.

I love bacon and eat it all the time but this burger sounds disgusting. Bacon is supposed to be crispy. If the patty is made of it, you have nasty half-cooked stuff in the middle.

So hungry.. I wouldnt mind having one right now.

Does not look that appealing. A burger is good with strips of bacon, but not the whole thing. Yuck.

The buns are not made of bacon. Not merica nough for me.

For those of you old enough to watch The Cosby Show, it's a bacon burger dog, one of Theo's favorites. Hot dog surrounded by hamburger meat wrapped in bacon.

I'd eat it but I would definitely prefer for it to be made out of beef. Nobody likes soggy bacon and this is just a soggy bacon patty. The bacon trend is terrible...
