Invader Zim was the best Nicktoon ever made.

It has been over ten years since the first episode aired, and I still have very fond memories of watching the show with my little sister. I loved it because it was dark, cynical, and most of all, funny. Humans were depicted as stupid oafs and society corrupt and inefficient.

There are rumors that Nick might green light another season if sales of the latest DVD are high enough. I think I'll buy one now.

Ironically, at the same time, I also love bright and happy cartoons like My Little Pony...

I'm going to say Ren and Stimpy was the best Nick had cartoon wise. xXDrPainXx

season 1 was fantastic.

season 2 had its moments but overall it was a lot weirder.

Really loved the world they made and how they did the story telling. I have seen most of the show. I still need to see how it all ended.

Not even in the ballpark. Doug, Rocko, Hey Arnoald, Rugrats...hell even Rocket Power was better than Zim. Zim was a great cartoon but the listed were amazing.

Well, I stopped watching Nick after 2004... So, Avatar: The Last Airbender is quite new for me.

Not even in the ballpark. Doug, Rocko, Hey Arnoald, Rugrats...hell even Rocket Power was better than Zim. Zim was a great cartoon but the listed were amazing.

Out of that list, I only really liked Rugrats and see it as equivalent in terms of quality and enjoyability to Zim. The others I am lukewarm on.

Yeah, it really went down the drain after Zim was cancelled (it was revived for a little while in 2006, but I didn't get to see those episodes). And then Rugrats got cancelled (All Grown Up just wasn't as good), so I then told my parents that we should simply cancel the cable bill and get DSL in the house instead.

Have you bought the Operation Doom DVD? Nick said that they might bring it back if sales are high enough. I just bought a copy on Amazon after seeing the pilot on Youtube again.

Invader Zim only started becoming popular again after Hot Topic started selling t-shirts online with Zim and Dib on them in the mid 2000s. I watched premiere when it first aired (I was 9 years old at the time) and became a fan almost instantly. My fourth grade friends and I would discuss the show over lunch. It was awesome.

It was good a first watch, but now it's just "okay". Gir and the fanbase ruined it for me.

i disagree. I think avatar is the best Nicktoon ever made imo.

invader zim was an awesome '00s cartoon. I do enjoy the 90s nicktoons better.

Vasquez mentioned that he was interested in working on the show again, but Nick put too many restrictions on the show's content, so that was why he left. If they lose the art style and dark humor that the previous two seasons had, then they can count me out.

I never liked Invader Zim. Rocko's Modern Life was the greatest.
