iPad - what do you think of them?

I had a chance to go to a mac store the other day after my lunch and I got to try out the iPad. I thought it was really cool! You can play games on the huge screen or you can make them tinier as if your were playing on the ipod Touch. They have tons of funs games like rockband, plants vs zombies, nba live, great web surfing abilities and I thought was very cool! I want to know what you guys think of it...

I can't tell you how many times I have posted this.

It's shiny and nifty.

Do want.

It's like most Apple products a lot of pretty but no substance for too much money.

So far, the people I've seen rocking iPads are very attractive.

It's neat but not practical in any way, shape of form for any prolonged use. It's more of a quick use item which a laptop can do. It's just a cool gadget to screw around with. Nothing more.

if you got the cash i guess get one, though personally their pointless to me, just get a netbook or get the smaller model... the i-touch "or whatever you call it"

It is subjective if it is your opinion. Provide facts on how the Netbook is not fun and than it won't be subjective

If it being laggy is what makes it not fun for you than you shoulden't use lag as another negative point and just keep it confined to one check

My mom got one a week or two ago and I think it's pretty cool. If I had the money I probably wouldn't get one though.

It's a gigantic, overpriced iphone that doesn't fit in your pocket and can't make calls.

Completely useless and extremely expensive.

I have one and I love it. Having internet that fast anywhere you go is wonderful. It's really fast and has a beautiful presentation. Primarily, I use it as an eReader and I love it. The hate is pretty silly -- we're all gamers here, we all like shiny, cool technology. Everyone should at least admit the iPad is pretty neat. NAPK1NS

my gf got one a few weeks ago. i really didnt see the need as i have an iphone and we have a laptop. but its so cool, we have not touched the laptop since she got it.

anyone just saying its just a big iphone, yes it is but im yet to see the problem with that
