Thinking about getting one.

Wondering for the apps can you download them to your comp then download to your iphone. I won't be getting a data pan for the net with rogers here in toronto and the insane fees for doing nothing on the net really lol

So wondering about that, also if you're on it from wi-fi that doesn't count I guess as being on the net with the provider does it?

BTW I looked for an iPhone forum but couldn't find one

Yes, you can download them through iTunes and then transfer them to your phone. I'm not sure, but I think a data plan is mandatory. Isn't it?

If you don't have a data plan you have two options:

1. Through iTunes you can download the apps and then transfer them to your iPhone.

2. If you have a wifi connection you can use the App Store right on the iPhone to get whatever you like and it will not cost you a thing.

You need to make sure if the Data plan is optional. Apple & ATT has made it where the customer is required to purchase a data plan. You should talk to the provider and see what packages are available.
