Hi

Can any one help ? I was wondering do you have to keep your music on your pc when it is on your IPod?

This would be all your music in your ITunes Library . I don't see why this has to be full when its on your Ipod? Taking up space on the PC.

Thanks

If you're manually managing your music, then no, you can delete it from iTunes and just back it up to a DVD or two (or more). If you're automatically syncing everything, then it has to be there or else deleting it on your PC will also delete it from your iPod.

If you delete it from your iTunes library, then it will delete it from your iPod next time you connect it.

In all practicality you have to. You could get around it if you were really hellbent on it, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it, especially since tracks stored on an iPod get file names which are basically gibberish. Personally, I wouldn't buy music off of iTunes (or pretty much any digital distribution service really), but that's just me.

You can set it not to auto-sync, but I still wouldn't really recommend deleting them off the PC.

Yeah because he would have to sync it eventually.
