People always say that iPods are bad and things like that. But when I ask them why, they just shrug it off. Apparently, iPods are in a love hate relathionship as well.
I love mine and absolutely have nothing else to say.

I hate them...with it's original firmware on it. If rockbox is installed on it, though...:D Still don't care for the scroll wheel though.
I wish it worked with the 2nd gen Nano...:(I hate them...with it's original firmware on it. If rockbox is installed on it, though...:D Still don't care for the scroll wheel though.

They are a lot more resilient than people think ... I've had mine two years now , its never broke ... apart from the odd freeze period , but that was only for a few hours at a time. They're very easy to use aswell.
So I'm gonna say "Love".
 My thoughts exactly on iPod. I wants mah wireless sync NAO! :D:DFirmware update soon! *is excited*

I never really liked the Zune... It just seemed like a big slow brick to me... And the Zune software was just as bad as iTunes. The Zune software seemed a bit better, but still iffy. The new software coming out the 12th won't be based off WMP11, so it should be a lot better. I actually like the size of the Zune. It nice and comfy in my hand. :P

I fail to see why people who think they are so much more technologicaly advanced then everyone else hate iPods. They seem to be too mainstream for all these people too cool to use the mainstream stuff. I've had mine for 3 years, I take care of it, and it hasn't failed me yet.CrimzonTide
I took care of mine and it broke.
sooo what is the best mp3 to get atm i need somthing 40 gig or over
my iriver h340 has lasted me for about 3/4 years now and i still like it the only problem is that the battery is nearly done....
Among the most expensive MP3 players
Among the most mediocre sounding
No FM tuner...
Forces you to use iTunes (unless you know how to bypass it)
So the second option for me.UssjTrunks
Those reasons have kept me from buying an iPod, except I don't think any other player beats the nice interface the iPods have...

ipod got its interface from creative, there was a big lawsuit a while ago. Also what is so great about the ipods interface? i think creatives is much better.
there are better mp3 players out there. but they're trendy and apple has absolutely genius marketing executives.blooddemon666
Bingo!
I havea second gen Nano, and while I don't know if I'd say I love it, I'm glad I have it. Of course, iPods would be absolutely nothing without iTunes integration, and it's nice that plugging it in to my computer results in my Outlook calendar being updated on the iPod, any new podcasts replacing old ones and a new random selection of songs replacing one of the old playlists. All I have to do is waita few minutes and then click the little eject button.
Not that I'm adverse to more manual ways, but it's good to be lazy now and then.
