I wonder if the US will enjoy the humor...

Reports say the US is to get its top secret surveillance drone back from Iran. The catch is, the device, intercepted in December, has been reduced to 1:80 of its original size and is being marketed as a popular toy.

Iranian state radio was quoted by Associated Press as saying on Tuesday that the US RQ-170 Sentinel stealth drone toy models would soon be on sale in Tehran.

They are expected to sell for 70,000 rials – around US$4.

One of the models will even make it to the White House in response to a formal request from Washington last month asking Iran to return the top-secret device.

America's own arrogance and aggression has made it a laughing stock and Iran capitalized on it. Iran, you so crazy!! lol

Yeah... thing is, all of that posturing doesn't change the simple fact that they can't control their own backyard (gulf)... only whine about naval assets in it.

That shows us! Going to laugh when Iran attempts to close the Strait of Hormuz(sp?) and one of our fleets wipes them from the face of the planet. Oh wait, that won't happen, we have Obama as president.

Insecurity would be defined by Iran's generally misguided policies, and I'm not talking about this drone (which, of course they'd keep... any country woud). They sacrifice their international standing, and the welfare of their own people for a dubious nuclear weapons program that will never come to fruition. When they threatened to send their excuse for a navy out of the Gulf and station around the USA... that was pretty pathetic. If Iran were simply content to be a regional, non-nuclear power they would provide a better quality of life for their people. To eschew that in favor of pointless and laughable grandstanding the is the very essence of nationalistic insecurity.

That sounds right about par for the course when it comes to the Americans thinking they can do whatever they want.

EDIT: It's close to Hitler asking the Brits to return any unexploded V1/V2 rockets. "Wait, my bad, mind if I have that back"

Typical USA.

Made a stupid choice by flying into a restricted airspace and then made a stupid decision by basically asking/telling Iran to give it back.

Yep, typical America.

It wasn't shot down either because there was minimal damage to the aircraft itself nor was it inside Iranian airspace because, like I said, we're not allowed to fly within Iranian airspace and it was flying in western Afghanistan.

Actually they dont. Unless you're looking at clearly biased news sources that simply want to get Americans all riled up for the war they've got planned.
