This marks the first year that Christmas is an official Holiday in Iraq. Cardinal Emmanuel III Delly, The Patriarch of the Chaldean rite, thanked the government at a Mass in a Baghdad monastery that was attended by Ammar al Hakim, a High ranking Shiite Cleric and the Son of a major Shiite Politician.

But Jesus is a prophet in Islam, not the son of God. I'm sure they can come up with a way to celebrate it.

Well, the Iraqi "Government" is a puppet of a self-declared "Christian Nation", so this is hardly a surprising development.

If only people realized that the difference between Islam and Christianity, is like the difference between Christianity and Judaism, maybe the world would be a better place!
