Metallica maybe because I listen to them more, but Iron Maiden was the band that got me into Metal. And I really look up to Dave Murray and Adrian Smith.

I still remember the first concert I went to see them, it was just like a show back in the 80s, Metalheads everywhere getting pissed drunk and barfing, headbanging and all these denim vest and leather jackets with studs and band patches. Greatest moment of my life.
Iron Maiden is a legend, they have so many great songs and all, but i'll go with Metallica, like someone said, Metallica's best works are better than Iron's.
Though Iron Maiden had plenty of classic albums (Powerslave, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, Piece of Mind etc.), they still don't compare to Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightening.

Everyone on Maiden is better than their counterpart on Metallica IMHO! And hallowed be thy name or no more lies are better than every metallica's song. Again IMHO though. That said, I love metallica! But maiden is metal for me.
