Oh. My. God.

By "Stark" contrast, the game so far as I have played it, is about a 69% (and falling).

I haven't played the game, but the movie itself is awesome! It deserves that 96%. It's great filmmaking all around.

You really should consider it! Spider-Man was far too cheesy for my tastes, but Iron Man isn't that. It's not as mature of a comic book movie as, say, Batman Begins, but not as cheesy as Spider-man. It's sort of in the middle but leaning more towards a Batman Begins type of a film (if I HAD to compare it to other movies of the genre). I really enjoyed it, and it seems several other people did, too *^_^*

I saw the film last night - it was great! I've always liked that sort of comic book hero though, one who doesn't have any special powers, like Batman as well. But last night - wow! The film is funny, but also makes a statement about weapons makers (in a way that makes you think 'I know that it's wrong, but it would be so cool to make a suit like that - even the bad guy's one!'). I would definitely recommend it, and will probably go to see it again myself!

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. I don't want to ruin too much, but I think it was meant to be longer but was likely edited down because we saw a lot of that fighting-in-traffic stuff in a few movies this year (most memorably Transformers). it's just not shocking anymore so they moved on.

Even still, I loved the film.

Yeah the boss battle was too short for my taste, but the part when he first used the Mark III was godlike.

I'm very skeptical about films adapted from comic book stories, which is why I'll most likely catch this when it's on DVD.

I eagerly await the comments from people saying "Wahh, I don't trust critics. They don't know anything about movies. Boo, critics are all artsy elitists, and they only like movies about gay cowboys. Critics can't appreciate fun action movies with **** blowing up. Blahhh. If the critics like a movie, that's a sure sign that it sucks."

I just got back from seeing it with some friends and I'd say it was pretty good. My only complaints were that the movie wasted time in some places (though nothing bad) and that there were quite a few big plotholes. Some of the plotholes were ones that you probably wouldn't care about although one was a bit jarring. There's this scene in the film where he's flying around, sees something that he wants to blow up probably a few dozen miles away, gets shot down right when he sees them, fights what shot him down, and then when he turns around the stuff that he had to fly a few dozen more miles to get to is right behind him. Anyway, its one of the better comic movies out there so it's worth seeing.

that's a shame because you're probably not going to enjoy it as much as you would on the big screen

Big screen, small screen -- it doesn't make a difference to me. I prefer sitting in the comfort of my own home without the annoying members of the audience.
