Is a guy bleaching his hair seen as ok?

I've always wanted to bleach my hair once in my life and now I think that I'm going to do it.

But is it seen as you know what? What are your feelings on the matter.

I'm 21 btw.

I remember when alot of guys were bleaching their hair blonde back in junior high, it was kind of like a fad for a while back then. Happened around the same time as everyone starting to spike their hair.

I'm sure it's seen as "ok", the question is just whether or not it looks good on you.

If you're that self conscious, maybe just don't do it. Nobody cares what your hair color is and whether it's natural or not these days... If you do care, maybe taking such a bold move to stand out isn't for you. Stick with what you feel comfortable with and what looks good on you rather than thinking of what other people might think of you.

Hair color change won't help.

I'm going to flip a coin when I get it cut. Head do it. Tails don't do it.

Go with a 30 Volume cream developer with your bleach kit.....You can go 20... 30... 40 on the developer... I found that 30 works best (We have the same stock hair color)...IMO cream developer works better as it stays on your head and does not drip everywhere..

After that go with a white toner...The toner will get the remaining yellow out of the hair and make it pitch white....IMO the white looks better than the bleach yellow....and as another poster said.... if you don't like it just shave it off..

i bleached my hair the other day, and its super long :|

and now its super blonde :P

I got nothing against guys that bleach their hair.

Not something I'd ever do, but probably works well for others.

Hummmm....Here in SoCAL where 90% of the girls have long yellow bleached hair....In my area make yea looks like a girl....so I guess different areas makes a difference on how it's looked upon

There was a short period in my life that I had long flowing blond hair.......... I have no intention of doing that again. lol

I regret never spiking my hair when it was like that to make myself look like Cloud from Final Fantasy VII...
