Nah I would say cyberpunk with out the tech, after all who ever was the strongest corporation controlled things.

Pretty much. He wanted no limitations and no control but at the same time he wanted everyone to be prosperous and wealthy. As always with anarchy, it took only one man to shift the balance into total crap and then everything fell apart. While he was trying to stop that man who was turning things into crap, he abandoned his own ideals and started doing extreme things to gain control, so that he could make things better. But it was too late already and things only got worse.

I though Andrew Ryan's voice actor was perfectly cast.

Anyway, what is the book "Atlus Shrugged" about? I keep hearing about it...
