yes i am sick of her she is dead not like we can change it nowsquitsquat
O really? Wow dude, it's called remembering someone. I think we should stop honouring the heroes of wars too because they are dead not like we can change it now. Does that make sense? Nope neither does what you said. She had an impact on a lot of people, maybe not on you but that doesn't mean you can't remember her for what she did.

So, let's say one of your family members dies. Your just gonna say "Oh well, they're dead now! No one can change that. Let's move on."?

No, but I'm not expecting to be hearing about it on the news in ten years

She was the princess of a country. She would have been a queen someday. So, let me put this into perspective for you. It's like a vice president being killed.

She wasn't actually royalty.

Have you done this?
Starting in the mid- to late 1980s, the Princess of Wales became well known for her support of all charity projects. This stemmed naturally from her role as Princess of Wales - she was expected to engage in hospital visitations where she comforted the sick and in so doing, assumed the patronage of various charitable organizations - and from an interest in certain illnesses and health-related matters. Owing to Public Relations efforts in which she agreed to appear as a figurehead, Diana used her influential status to positively assist the campaign against landmines, a cause which won the Nobel Prize in 1997 in tribute, and with helping to decrease discrimination against victims of AIDS.

I didn't know any of that, thanks for enlightening me!:)
Defintely sick of hearing about her.
For sure, she focussed a lot of attention and benefit on the charities that she was the ambassador/figure-head of.
But ultimately, she died whilst racing around Paris with a guy who wasn't her husband, and whilst her children (then fairly young) were home in another country without her.
I feel sorry for her kids, but she made her own destiny.
I live in America and I don't know why they are even talking about her in the first place. But despite my home country, why is planet Earth in general still hung up on this meaningless person? A princess, okay so she's some rich kid who has the title princess before her name. Why does that make her important? And they were probably all drinking and doing drugs when her car crashed so it's not like she died defending her country in a war or anything. It just doesn't make sense to me why they consistently talk about her in the news like she made a difference while she was here.-MlKE-
I was gonna agree that i'm sick of hearing about diana but you hurt my feelings. Why would being tied to royalty and having a royal title make you meaningless princess?
I live in England, and I do a paper round so naturally I'm sick of reading about her everyday, her and madeline, not being mean to her, since it's a terrible thing that happened, but she's on the front page quite often for no reason at all lately, since there has been no developments, and it's not like no one knows about her here aswell.diablo_humanYeah that's annoying too. Plenty of children get taken every day, and yet they only report on one all the time...

If you don't want to read the stories, just skip ahead
All newspapers are filled with crap anyway.

It is stupid that she be constantly talked about in the news and whatnot. We mine as well start talking about Elvis or Mother Teressa again....
Oh and anyone find it insulting that there was a lifetime movie made called "The murder of Princess Diana"?
The TC's knowledge about dianna is hilarious, he makes stuff up and presents them as fact...mind you I shouldn't be surprised, this is GS....
I am sick of hearing about Diana's death, but it should be over after the memorial services today. I do not begrudge her kids wanting people to remember thier mother but involving the press is a little inappropriate.
