Governor skips his own impeachment to appear on the View...

Last 4 Governors are in jail...

Police are tricked by a 14 year old...Don't realize until 5 hours on the job...

Now normally, I'd just think to myself. "Man! I'm glad I'm not from Chicago!"

But, our elected leader IS from there...

And today...we're going to be approving his pick for Treasury Sec...a 47-year-old who didn't pay his taxes...

There HAS to be something in the water in Chicago...

I live here, i'm downtown right now. The police force has been dealing with corruption for a long time, and all this business with the governor everyone knew was going to happen eventually. Also, its not like we aren't familiar with corrupt governors...we can handle it and we will be just fine.

We like picking bad governors, than when they blow up and get arrested we go get italian beef sandwich and have a lolz. But anyways theres enough good people in the state government to keep things running at least.

you must live in Montana or something...because most of the West is strange...most of the South is strange (except Texas, which rocks)...and most of the East coast is crazy. Chicago = Philly in terms of voilence and general corruption. NYPD once shot an unarmed man 41 times.

yes but we shouldnt generalize the whole NYPD. Though in the 90s there were some crazy cases in NYC involving NYPD and most recent the SeanBell case, NYPD has stabilize one of the most dense cities in the world.

They could've shot him 42 times. Bet you didn't think of that.

Besides, I can't blame the NYPD for being jumpy. Nobody in New York backs them, and I recently heard about a cop who got shot to death by thugs who had stolen a car.

One was released and not charged with anything undernath the defense that he didn't shoot the man and that he was just driving the stolen car, so they let him go.
Also, their pay is balls compared to the LAPD. Starting salary is virtually double that of the NYPD. So they probably don't get the most motivated of officers.

what you mean you cant blame the officers for shooting a man 41 TIMES?! Shooting a man that many times makes no sense.

41 times is ridiculous, they were probably changing clips to get some more lead in the perp...

We don't have that problem in Chicago or Illinois. If someone dies during the commission of a felony, the person committing that felony gets charged with murder. So in that case, the driver of the stolen car would get charged. regardless of whether he fired the weapon or not.

Lets do this. Really, Chicago isn't all bad. People seem to forget how massive it is, not even mentioning the suburban area.
